Profanity Policy

Univise prohibits the use of language that is racist, hateful, sexual or obscene in nature in a public area. This policy extends to text within listings, on all other areas of the site that another User may view. If the profane words are part of a title for the item being sold, we will ‘blur’ out the bulk of the offending word with asterisks (i.e., s*** or f***).

Please report any violations of this policy to the correct area for review:

* Report offensive language in a listing or otherwise
If a feedback comment; or any communication made between Users on the Website; or email communication between Users in relation to transactions conducted on Website contain profanity, please review Our feedback removal policy and submit a request for action/removal.
Disciplinary action may result in the indefinite suspension of a User’s account, temporary suspension, or a formal warning. Univise will consider the circumstances of an alleged policy violation and the user’s trading records before taking action.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

  1. Limits placed on account privileges
  2. Loss of special status
  3. Account suspension.

Email Abuse & Threat Policy

Private communication, including email correspondence, is not regulated by Univise. Univise encourages its Users to be professional, courteous and respectful when communicating by email.
However, Univise will investigate and can take action on certain types of unwanted emails that violate Univise policies.

Such instances:

Threats of Bodily Harm – Univise does not permit Users to send explicit threats of bodily harm.
Misuse of Univise System – Univise allows Users to facilitate transactions through the Univise system, but will investigate any misuse of this service.
Spoof (Fake) email – Univise will never ask you to provide sensitive information through email. In case you receive any spoof (fake) email, you are requested to report the same to Us through ‘Contact Us’ tab.
Spam (Unsolicited Commercial email) – Univise’s spam policy applies only to unsolicited commercial messages sent by Univise Users. Univise Users are not allowed to send spam messages to other Users.
Offers to Buy or Sell Outside of Univise – Univise prohibits email offers to buy or sell listed products outside of the Univise Website. Offers of this nature are a potential fraud risk for Buyers.
Univise policy prohibits user-to-user threats of physical harm via any method including, phone, email and on Our public message boards.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

  • Limits on account privileges
  • Account suspension
  • Cancellation of listings
  • Loss of special status

 

Factors outside Control

We cannot guarantee the results or outcome of your particular procedure. For instance, the government may reject a trademark application for legal reasons beyond the scope of Univise. In some cases, a government backlog or problems with the government platforms (e.g. MCA website, Income Tax website, FSSAI website) can lead to long delays before your process is complete. Similarly, Univise does not guarantee the results or outcomes of the services rendered by our Associates on Nearest. Expert platform, who are not employed by Univise. Problems like these are beyond our control and are not covered by this guarantee or eligible for refund. Hence, delay in processing of your file by the Government cannot be a reason for refund.

Force Majeure

Univise shall not be considered in breach of its Satisfaction Guarantee policy or default under any terms of service, and shall not be liable to the Client for any cessation, interruption, or delay in the performance of its obligations by reason of earthquake, flood, fire, storm, lightning, drought, landslide, hurricane, cyclone, typhoon, tornado, natural disaster, act of God or the public enemy, epidemic, famine or plague, action of a court or public authority, change in law, explosion, war, terrorism, armed conflict, labor strike, lockout, boycott or similar event beyond our reasonable control, whether foreseen or unforeseen (each a “Force Majeure Event”).

Other Businesses

Univise does not take responsibility or liability for the actions, products, content and services on the Website, which are linked to Affiliates and / or third party websites using Website’s APIs or otherwise. In addition, the Website may provide links to the third party websites of Our affiliated companies and certain other businesses for which, Univise assumes no responsibility for examining or evaluating the products and services offered by them. Univise do not warrant the offerings of, any of these businesses or individuals or the content of such third party website(s). Univise does not endorse, in any way, any third party website(s) or content thereof.

Indemnity

You shall indemnify and hold harmless Univise, its owner, licensee, affiliates, subsidiaries, group companies (as applicable) and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees, from any claim or demand, or actions including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party or penalty imposed due to or arising out of Your breach of this Terms of Use, privacy Policy and other Policies, or Your violation of any law, rules or regulations or the rights (including infringement of intellectual property rights) of a third party.

Applicable Law

Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The place of jurisdiction shall be exclusively in New Delhi.
